FIRST OFF, I want to tell you guys something, because it is super important for you to understand this.
When you guys come up to us at conventions and start shaking or crying and explaining, "how much we've done for you" with our weird videos and weird selves, don't you everrr
feel like you are wasting our time and you should never ever feel the need to apologize to us for telling us your very personal stories or for crying, or anything! You are never wasting our time, and when you take a moment to talk to us about such personal things that happened in your life, we are honored & it reminds us that we do these silly things not for our own amusement, but for you as well. I say it all the time but you guys keep us going, and I mean it. When you tell us these things, I can't help but want to just take you over to a less crowded area and hug you and cry with you. I'm telling you all of this because I want you all to know that expressing yourself to us is never a bad thing. We won't judge you for it, and we appreciate you opening up to us almost instantly. It means a LOT that you all trust us enough to talk about those things, and we love to know more about you guys. So please, don't ever feel like a burden to us at conventions. We're there to meet you guys too! <3
(Also, thank you so much to everyone who gave us little gifts! AAH! >D< )NOW..
Super omega thank you to Robert J. for giving us our badges. I just. dfjkghdfg We wouldn't have been able to do much of anything without you being so kind. You're doing a fantastic job at running Anime Fest. I see it getting bigger and better each time I get the privilege to go! <3Saturday-
Cosplaying Cook!Sebastian with
as Cook!Claude was a blast. I can't believe ALL of our sweets were eaten by you guys! That was a LOT! XD I hope you all liked them, and the chocolate ones weren't TOO melted for you. xD Thank you so much for all of the love and compliments, my legs are so dead from bending down in those boots for photos. You guys gave me super muscle thighs from this. LOL. But honestly, I was afraid to cosplay Sebastian again after such a long hiatus from being him at conventions. I never really explained why, but I went on a hiatus from cosplaying him at events because I would get word or people would come up and say things that made me feel horrible for even showing up. I stopped attending photoshoots, (I still don't go to photoshoots anymore.) and I ended up hiding for a while in cosplays that people wouldn't recognize as easily. I wanted to let other Sebastian cosplayers enjoy themselves and not ruin their convention just because I was a Sebastian too. Idk what the deal was, but every year, someone would try to cause trouble or say that they didn't want to be Sebastian anymore because I was there as Sebastian. It made me feel horrible, so I stopped so that they could enjoy their conventions without my cosplay bothering them. Anyways, my point is.. It was nice to get back into the outfit of a character I've been attached to for so long and not feel like I was getting random hateful rumors spread about me. It was really, a fantastic day. I had way less panic attacks because you all were so kind to me. It was just really really nice to go and not be stopped by people saying, "So and so is saying this about you." WHEN I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO SO AND SO IS! D,8 I'm just really happy that nothing happened this year. So, thank you for making it great this time. TDT Major thank you to Hannah too. It wouldn't have been near as fun without you clauding in my space. LOLSunday-
Cosplaying Lemongrab with
as my dearest lemon brother and
as our glob Princess bubblegum was a blast as well! Shu and I have giant muscular thunder thighs now from bending over and putting our bags down for photos so much. xDD You guys gave us a workout! I wasn't expecting that much love from a majority of the con. Though some people were rude, the kindness of everyone else was amazing. We got to meet a lot of amazing Adventure Time cosplayers, and everyone seemed to be so nice! We totally passed out a giant heap of candy all day. I'm pretty sure at least half of the con got some candy. We even gave candy over at the blood donation station because when we came up everyone flocked to grab some. I'm so happy that we could help, I know that donating blood can take a lot out of people, and sugar can be a big help. Same goes for just walking around the con for a few days. A lot of people forget to eat, so at least some sugar to help out made us enjoy passing out candy even more. A lot of people at their booths and the staff seemed so tired and hungry xD So it all worked out fantastically! By the end of the night, we had a little left, and two guys were sitting at a table with us and we gave them the rest, and they ended up continuing the tradition and passed out the rest of the candy that they could have easily just kept for themselves. It was just super awesome to see so many people caring about one another. dfjghfdg >D<
I feel like I'm missing some things but I wrote a lot already, so I'm just going to stop here and say that we didn't really have a chance to sit for more than a few minutes the entire time, so we didn't get to record much until we got home or until it was really late. So the footage that we post (later on. I still have to edit it.) will have really tired faces, and... we tried to film short skits to make up for the footage we couldn't shoot during the con... You'll just have to wait and see how those turned out. LOL
