How long do you find yourself looking at an individual art/cosplay post on Deviantart?

A couple seconds, I usually fav and run.
A couple seconds, I don't bother faving most of the time.
About a minute or two.
I usually stay for a long time, I like to look at details of things.
Long enough to fav and comment then leave.
I don't really bother looking at things anymore.

it really depends on the quality of what i'm looking at. if it's fic, i probably won't make it past the first or second grammar/spelling/punctuation mistake. if it's art, then it's all about detail, composition, polish, etc.: stuff that looks like it was drawn by a drunken three-year-old with no depth perception doesn't get looked at for long, but i can stare at really well-done artwork for hours. (exception: stuff that's so incredibly bad that it becomes awesome. not only will i stare and laugh and adore, i'll also usually fave it.) it's the same with cosplay photos: if it's fairly believable and not run through 12548795624 filters, i'm much more likely to look at it for a long time and appreciate it. (unless of course it's so mind-bogglingly bad that it has to be a joke. then i'll fave that sucker almost instantly. there's an amazing photo going around right now of a Vegeta cosplayer wearing construction paper for hair, ping-pong paddles for shoulderpads, Tupperware with white squares painted on it for body armor, a yellow plastic bag for a codpiece, and - best of all - a red Tic-Tacs box taped to the left lens of his glasses for the scouter. bonus: IT STILL HAS TIC-TACS IN IT.)
